Through the sands of time
The seed of this project was planted in the soils of my creative imagination during a trip to the Caucasus mountains of Georgia in 2018, when the land there spoke to me and I began to remember things long forgotten...
The work in this Herstory : Full Circle comes from dreams, memories, visions and stories.
It contains semi autobiographical stories of my own journey through clearing the ancestral trauma of being a third generation holocaust descendent of Jewish refugees from the Ukraine and Poland; a connection to visionary states, messages from the natural world and a golden thread of remembering that I feel is re-weaving through humanity at this time.

Earth Based. 2022 Stitching on Pillow case. I dreamed I had stitched this piece all in blue thread. I had not made stitched artworks before. After the dream, I found myself making this piece and it flowed out like water. Drawing through stitching.
