A short exercise to connect to your creative energy.

Our creative impulse never deserts us, but it will go into the background of our conscious awareness if there is not the time or space for it. And that is ok. Sometimes other things take precedence. Life can be busy, there can be many demands on our time.

When I gave birth to my son, 18 months ago, I couldn't imagine ever being able to paint again!

Sometimes, even when we do get the time to create again, so much fear has built up that we feel frozen and unable to get going. This can look like procrastination and doing anything other than that thing that we really want to be doing.

If that is where you are at right now, I sympathise. Despite being a practicing artist for twenty years and teaching art and creativity, I still get this feeling. All the time. The truth is that it never goes away. Whenever we are going outside our comfort zone, the fear will rise and potentially block us.

But I have tools for managing it, that I return to again and again.

If you would like me to guide you through one of my favourite exercises for liberating creative energy, leave your name and email below and I'll email it to you!
